Linda Deason (co-owner of 9th Street Studios): Linda is a Wichita Falls native, business owner, grandma, mother, creator, and lover of all old things. Her extensive experience in construction, renovation, horticulture and upholstery work give her a rich skill-set for the large visual elements and public art projects produced by 9th Street Studios.
Becky Raeke (co-owner of 9th Street Studios): Wichita Falls native, business owner and proud mother of 3, Becky provides the calm, organized and supportive energy for her team. Her background in community outreach and activism has informed her philosophy about 9th Street Studios. She skillfully initiates partnerships and collaborations that create opportunities, awareness, and participation in the community.
AmbeR Day Scott (Gallery Manager):
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from Midwestern State University in 2001, AmbeR spent several years living in different communities, searching for a place for her Artist Heart to thrive.
In 2017 she became involved with the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, which led to opportunities with a wide variety of organizations designed to engage greater portions of the community in the production and appreciation of art.
Her Curatorial debut was as the 2018 Enrichment Program Coordinator for the Communities in Schools Youth Art/Talent Expo, followed by 7 different monthly arts engagement activities and exhibitions for the “Young at Art/One World Gallery” 2018 After Hours Art Walk. She is thrilled to have since coordinated and curated over two dozen exhibitions at 9th Street Studios. She serves as the Artistic Lead (aka builder-of-gigantic-visual-elements) for the annual Los Muertos festival and the City Lights parade, alongside the amazing 9th Street team and volunteers.
