Chip Kouri

Chip Kouri is a visual artist working mostly in acrylic paints, oil pastels, colored pencil and photography. Growing up, he always had a love for the arts and creativity and decided to make it his life work when he attended Texas Christian University, where he graduated with degrees in Fashion Design and Art. While continuing to hone his art practice, Chip launched a successful thirty year career in the beauty industry, eventually rising to the level of International Director of Education for a major haircare manufacturer. After retiring from the beauty industry, he concentrated on his art and art practice. Currently, Chip resides in Wichita Falls, TX, where he creates brightly colored, whimsical paintings and drawings. He also works as a Teaching Artist in the region, conducting art camps and classes, and spends the rest of his time working as a professional decorator.
