Gretchen Davies
Gretchen Davies. I grew up in a small mountain town, and I believe a place shapes you...I learned a slower pace of life and a love of the natural world. My parents were artists, so I always seemed to have an artistic eye for things. Decades into life, I moved to Texas amid a major health battle, where my chance of surviving wasn't certain, but here I am. That tragedy shaped me as well and caused me to really appreciate the little things, glimmers of joy in a day, because every day is a gift. Through my health battle, I also grew closer to the Lord, and have hundreds of stories where I knew God was there, things the world cannot explain. I am a wife, mother, daughter, and school teacher. I live in a small town in the cross plains, where I can still embrace a country-type life.
