Marsha Wright-Reeves

Marsha Wright- Reeves is a freelance Artist that Lives and works in Wichita Falls. Studied fine Arts at Midwestern State University from 1988 to 1992. She is a full time Artist that has a Studio in the Historic Big Blue building, in Downtown Wichita Falls. Marsha is a past President of the Wichita Falls Art Association, during her presidency the WFAA opened the members Gallery on the ground floor of the Historic Holt Hotel, in WF. She has taught private Art Lessons since 1994. Her work has been featured in various magazines and books. She has work on permanent Display at the Museum of North Texas History in their Children’s Exhibit. She co-Illustrated for two Children’s books, titled: “Sparkles and Shiner”, and “Marilyn and the Magic Closet” written by Gordie Little of Morrisonville, NY * Mediums she works in include, Drawing, Painting (watercolor, acrylic, and oil) Photography, Stained Glass (Copper foil, Lead, Glass on glass mosaic) Ceramics, Sculpture, Alcohol Ink and, Jewelry. In addition, she enjoys woodworking and often builds frames for commission paintings. *She has exhibited work In- Burkburnett, Graham, Bowie, Henrietta, Breckenridge, Denton, Fort Worth and Wichita Falls Texas. She has been in shows at; Midwestern State University, The Wichita Falls Museum of Art, The Museum of North Texas History, The Kemp Center for the Arts, The Women’s Forum, The Wichita Falls Country Club, The Chicken and Bread Festival, The Lake Country Art festival, The Wichita Falls Art Association Gallery, The Clark Art Center, Portfolios in Ft. Worth, and the Denton Community Market.
