Melaney Moisan

Melaney lives in Salem, Oregon, and she is retired after more than 30 years in public relations and communications. She has been painting since the mid-1980s, mostly in oil, but also in watercolor and pastels. Currently she has discovered water soluble graphite and tinted graphite and been exploring that medium to recreate old family photos. Although she lives in Oregon, her father was born and raised in Newport, Texas, and her mother in Oklahoma and still feels a deep connection to that area. When she isn’t painting, she likes to garden, travel, read, and dabble in other arts.
